The Contents: Dear Chaplain Hines; I felt as if I were awakened from a beautiful dream when I had got here home country after a long trip. I have been very happy that I could enjoy the wonderful land of beauty and conveniences in every aspects. I am also much obliged to you for your kind fellowship in those days. I was very sorry of my being departed in such a hurry on account of my mission as soon as the school was finished. I stayed for a fortnight at Ft Lewis, Washington, and then arrived at Korea on July 30, through Alaska and Okinawa by ship. My only responsibility in Korea returning from school is to create a Korean Chaplain School as I supposed. Before beginning the school I am occupied in the Commander and General Staff College as a chaplain during August and September. Fortunately, as for me it is a good opportunity to observe the military school administration. As soon as I came back to Korea I did my best to recall the Korean style in every living cases even the method of thinking. It was not so difficult to change the way mentioned, but I have been in a regret that the living circumstances and economic condition of Korea were more or less getting worse than before half an year I leaved Korea. But sure, I have enough courage to overcome these every bad conditions. Item:c003005 Control 00002225
